Adding and removing Talkgroups
To create a new Broadcast Talkgroup:
- From the navigation on the left side of the screen, click Talkgroups.
- Click Create Talkgroup.
- From the drop-down menu, select Broadcast.
- Enter a name in the Talkgroup Name field.
- Click the Assign Broadcasters icon to assign broadcasters to the group. A window will appear with a list of available contacts.
- Select the contacts you would like to add to the group by checking the box beside their names, then click Assign.
- Click on the Members tab.
- Click the Assign Members icon to assign members to the group. A window will appear with a list of available contacts.
- Select the contacts you would like to add to the group by checking the box beside their names, then click Assign.
- When you are finished assigning broadcasters and members, click Save.
- A confirmation will appear at the top of the screen. Click OK to continue.
- From the navigation on the left side of the screen, click Talkgroups.
- Click Create Talkgroup.
- From the drop-down menu, select Dispatch.
- Enter a name in the Talkgroup Name field.
- Click the Assign Dispatchers icon to assign dispatchers to the group. A window will appear with a list of available contacts.
- Select the contacts you would like to add to the group by checking the box beside their names, then click Assign.
- Click on the Members tab.
- Click the Assign Members icon to assign members to the group. A window will appear with a list of available contacts.
- Select the contacts you would like to add to the group by checking the box beside their names, then click Assign.
- Click on the Supervisors tab.
- Click the Assign Supervisors icon to assign supervisors to the group. A window will appear with a list of available contacts.
- Select the contacts you would like to add to the group by checking the box beside their names, then click Assign.
- When you are finished assigning dispatchers, members and supervisors, click Save.
- A confirmation will appear at the top of the screen. Click OK to continue.
- From the navigation on the left side of the screen, click Talkgroups.
- Click Create Talkgroup.
- From the drop-down menu, select Standard.
- Enter a name in the Talkgroup Name field.
- Click the Assign Members icon to assign members to the group. A window will appear with a list of available contacts.
- Select the contacts you would like to add to the group by checking the box beside their names, then click Assign.
- Click on the Supervisors tab.
- Click the Assign Supervisors icon to assign supervisors to the group. A window will appear with a list of available contacts.
- Select the contacts you would like to add to the group by checking the box beside their names, then click Assign.
- When you are finished assigning members and supervisors, click Save.
- A confirmation will appear at the top of the screen. Click OK to continue.
- On the left side of the screen, click Talkgroups.
- Click on the Delete icon to the right of the Talkgroup you would like to delete.
- A confirmation will appear. Click OK to continue, or Cancel to stop the deletion.
